The best way to support a child at our Spring of Hope and New Hope CarePoints is to become a sponsor. But if you cannot afford a $38/month sponsorship, there are still ways your family can get involved to encourage and and show love to a child in Ethiopia. Take a look below.
Become a Pen Pal
The children love receiving letters from sponsors and friends! We know the powerful effect our words can have on a child's heart. We want every child to receive regular encouragement, but some sponsors may never choose to send letters. That's where you can step in and become a pen pal for a child who needs encouragement. Form a true friendship with a specific child we connect with you.
A pen pal commits to sending at least 3 letters every year to their assigned child. You can send handwritten letters or use our online writing portal.

Create a Special Gift
Every year when we visit our CarePoints in Ambo, our team delivers special gifts from all the children's sponsors and friends. This may be a photo album that shows each child some glimpses into our families, country, and culture, or it may be a Care Package filled with fun and practical gifts.
We want every child to receive a special gift when we visit them! That's why we love inviting volunteers to create these gifts for the children whose sponsors do not participate in these opportunities.
