Gelane is in 7th grade. Her favorite subject is Science. She loves art, and especially making sketches. Her daily chores include making coffee, house cleaning, shopping, etc. She lives with her mother, father, brother and three sisters. Gelane's mother bakes injera when she can find work, and her father is a day laborer. Gelane's mother is HIV positive.
